Kinley is proud to announce that we’re supporting our very own Project Director, Bev Walker, through her toughest fitness challenge ever, in support of our company charity of choice, The National Brain Appeal.
At Kinley, we also know Bev for her humour, determination, commitment and for keeping us all in order! And now, for taking on Splat Quack Go – Suffolk’s muddiest mud run!
Our whole company ethos embraces supporting good causes and giving back to the community. Of course, our values include trust, teamwork, care and positivity. That’s why we are all right behind Bev throughout her whole challenge – from training to the finish line (even if we aren’t all brave enough to join her in the race!).
As a long-term migraine sufferer, and with a relative affected by a neurological condition, The National Brain Appeal is a charity close to her heart. Now, she wants to challenge herself, and raise money for a good cause.
Taking place on 15th June, the mud-fest will see Bev jumping over, climbing up and crawling under over 40 obstacles – as well as carrying sand bags.
Bev is taking her role seriously and is already in training. We’ve seen her running at lunch time, eating an athlete’s diet, and mentally preparing herself for the infamous obstacle course. The National Brain Appeal
Help Bev along her journey. Ask her about her progress when you have a project chat, share your Mud Run experiences, or donate to Bev’s JustGiving page.
There are 12.5million people – that’s more than one in six – in the UK living with a neurological condition. Here at the leading neurological centre in the country, we’re passionate about supporting the hospital to help improve the lives of patients through treatment and research.
