Clean, clearly defined edges and lines are a key part of successful landscape design but the delivery of these elements is a frequent challenge to designers and contractors when it comes to implementation. Until now.
Whether it’s aluminium, steel and even plastic, Kinley Systems will work with you to deliver the design vision of effective edging and retaining elements in the landscape.
AluExcel, the revolutionary aluminium edge restraint, is recognised and appreciated as a valuable method of creating sinuous flowing edge lines to hard surfaces and increases installation speeds by up to 400% for the contractor. The lightweight and robust edging is available in 9 heights and is compatible with any hard surface type. AluExcel is manufactured in the UK from recycled aluminium and is used to edge paths and hard surfaces in public parks, playgrounds, public open spaces and town centres as well as commercial and domestic applications. Whether you require straight or curved lines AluExcel works perfectly and provides a clean, modern alternative to the old traditional method of concrete edgings.
In addition, Kinley Systems has the capability to develop and deliver bespoke steel edging and retaining elements using Corten, galvanised or stainless steel, which create eye-catching and effective designs. Recent projects include a bespoke steel curved retaining wall at newly opened Serpentine Sackler Art Gallery in Hyde Park, London and Corten Steel planters at Handyside Park Phase 1 – a new public open space north of King’s Cross Station in London.
In both these cases Kinley Systems worked closely with the designers and contractors through each stage of the process to ensure the design vision was realised effectively and delivery on time.
