Kinley is excited to be part of the very first Ascot Spring Garden Show. Our Borderline edging has been incorporated into the contemporary Landform Garden show garden, designed by Catherine MacDonald.
Taking place on Friday 13th – Sunday 15th April at Ascot Racecourse, the event is a celebration of Britain’s horticultural talent, which includes six inspiring show gardens.
Kinley partnered with Landform Consultants and Catherine MacDonald on their show garden, The Landform Garden, supplying the Borderline Steel edging used in the design, which creates the ideal, clean lines between the plants and the grass areas.
Borderline edging helps to create a modern garden space
Landform’s garden has been designed for a town or country property. Kinley’s Borderline edging fits in well with the linear style of the contemporary space.
The garden features an entertainment area and relaxation space. Blue, white and pale yellow dominate the landscape, with flowering tree, shrubs and spring flowers arranged around the edge.
A garden show with a difference
The Ascot Spring Garden Show is a distinctive event as it takes place earlier in the year than the usual summer shows. This gives landscape and garden designers the opportunity to exhibit a different variety of plants, as well as highlight how the garden can be used as an enjoyable space.
Catherine MacDonald says “The time of year means that we can showcase ideas and planting schemes different to those we would normally use in some of our other show gardens that take place later in the season”.
