All in the name of charity, the Kinley team voted for the Ice Bucket Challenge winner by pledging money to a team member.
Yes, the Ice Bucket Challenge has made a come back. The Kinley team put their names into the ring for an auction style vote to see who would get dunked – with the lucky winner (or loser!) being Euan Taylor, our technical consultant.
All in the name of charity, the Kinley team voted for the Ice Bucket Challenge winner by pledging money to a team member. Euan, who had the most money bid against his name, rose to the challenge on 25th May.
So far this year, Kinley has raised more than £3,000 for The National Brain Appeal, who also benefitted from this fundraiser.
In good spirits, Euan said “I loved the idea of the Ice Bucket Challenge auction until the ‘winner’ was announced! I’d do most things for charity, and even better when a cold shower helps you on a hot Friday afternoon!”
We’re looking for our next challenge – so send your suggestions to our charity events organiser at firstname.lastname@example.org
