Based on our flagship aluminium edging, Apex is an affordable and off-the-shelf alternative to bespoke low planter systems.
But this convenience and cost saving doesn’t mean it’s an inferior product. Manufactured from the highest grade durable aluminium (6005A), Apex is a sturdy 3mm thick.
Its natural milled finish brings cool sophistication and low-maintenance practicality to any combination of soft and hard landscaping. If you would rather have a slightly warmer effect, it is also available to order in a durable anodic bronze-effect finish.
Standing at 225mm high from its integral fixing feet, it is tall enough to create a clear step around planted areas even after hard landscaping has been laid.
Installing Apex is easy. It can be easily cut with an angle grinder or hacksaw. Its straight lengths and preformed internal and external corners simply clip together for instant alignment. Pre-drilled holes in the feet allow it to be attached to solid concrete with concrete fixings, laid on compacted Type 1 hardcore with spike fixings or secured to a roof terrace system frame. As no haunching is required to keep the edging from moving, hard landscaping can be installed as soon as it has been fixed down.
Delivery
Apex is designed and manufactured in the UK and shipped from our dedicated warehouse in East Sussex. We carry good stocks of the standard mill finish and delivery is usually within 2-3 days. Our friendly, helpful team is always available to answer any questions you may have.
PLEASE NOTE: Special Finishes
Apex in anodic bronze-effect finish will be custom made, therefore will take 4-6 weeks.
