Velin’s defining feature is the rounded D-end: a 250mm internal radius that transforms a standard rectangle into a sculptural form. Clean folded-steel construction reads as a single seamless object. Half variants and Light Detail versions extend the family for end-of-run conditions and illuminated schemes.
Footprints of 600mm x 600mm and 1200mm x 600mm with seven heights (300, 400, 500, 600, 800, 1000, 1200mm). 3mm steel in CorTen, RAL 7016, or custom powder-coated finishes. Delivered flat-packed with concealed fixings, gasket tape, and M10 anchor bolts. 100% recyclable. UK-manufactured to BS EN 9001.
Velin Small Half LD ensures continuity of illumination at the ends of a lit Velin run. The integrated LED lighting in the standard LD planters continues through the curved D-end of the half-unit, so the run terminates with a lit curve rather than an unlit cap.

Velin Small Half units take the rounded D-end of the standard planter and pair it with a shorter body, creating a deliberate planted terminus to a Velin run. Available in left-handed (L) and right-handed (R) configurations so the curve always faces outward, regardless of which end of the run it sits on.

Velin XL LD pairs the extended XL footprint with integrated low-level LED lighting along its length. The longer light wash makes a more dramatic evening statement than the standard LD variant, suiting hero positions in larger public realm schemes.

Velin XL extends the body of the D-shape planter while preserving the 250mm radius D-end and folded steel construction. The result is a more prominent linear element — useful for defining the edge of a long route, anchoring a wider planting bed, or creating impact at hero positions in the scheme.

Velin LD integrates concealed LED lighting into the standard D-shape planter form. By day the planter reads as the familiar Velin silhouette; by night, soft light grazes the surrounding ground, defining the curved D-end and creating a layered visual effect across a run of planters.
