This is a great achievement that only 17% of IIP accredited organisations attain. It is further reassurance to our customers and suppliers that the Kinley team lives and breathes the company values and is committed to striving for excellence.
We’ve chosen to work towards IIP accreditation as part of our desire to create an excellent workplace, and to give us an opportunity to identify where we excel and how we can continue to improve. We also believe in their ethos, ‘make work better’.
To achieve Gold, Kinley met the criteria for Advanced Level across seven set indicators, including:
- Structuring Work
- Delivering continuous improvement
- Creating sustainable success
- Leading and inspiring people
- Living the organisations values and behaviours
- Empowering and involving people
- Managing performance
Caroline Gurr, Kinley’s HR Coordinator who personally led the project working towards IIP Gold explained that the assessment had been particularly inspiring for the whole team. Caroline said:
“This award is not only a great achievement for the company and its reputation as an outstanding employer, it is also a recognition of the fantastic professionalism and teamwork that exists here. We are an amazing team.”
Commenting on the achievement, Stuart Bowie, Managing Director, said:
“I am absolutely thrilled and proud that the team has been recognised for all their hard work with this award. It’s even more of an achievement when you consider it has come at a time of huge change, with Kinley experiencing significant growth after recently acquiring a new business.
